such a sweet film, a little culturely insensitive but not too much that it could be classed as ignorant and offensive. I am also really glad that there was a live-action remake in 2020 which was more respectful and accurate. Both are two of my favourite films in the world. The original Mulan (this one) is one of my favourite Disney musicals to date. Thank you Disney!

a stunning film, i'm really glad the remake was more serious and more accurate to the actual Chinese legend. i know some people don't like how there aren't any childish character's but i think it's really mature and respectful to the culture. I know the childish character's were a signature part of the film but there would be no point remaking it in 2020 if it was going to exactly the same and equally as ignorant to the legend and Chinese culture.
