A very good Indian movie, not just tamizh after a really really long time. If someone had told me in the early 90s that the chubby Karthi from St. Bede's would turn out to be such a phenomenal actor, I would have least believed it. It's actors like Dhanush and Karthi that make me believe that cinema and especially good quality cinema is in safe hands. Hats off to an amazing performance. If a two film old Lokesh kanagaraj has made a movie like this, I cannot wait to see what this talented director will come up with for Vijay64. He is in a completely different league all together. Shades of the quality of Mani Ratnam's movies of the 80s & 90s. Kathi - makes you a voluntary Kaithi for every single minute of the movie. 5/5 stars from my end.
