I went into this film expecting to dislike it—bracing for something unconventional, a love story without the usual shimmer or charm. I couldn’t have been more wrong. This film has a rare ability to connect with audiences who may not have been its target, pulling them into its raw, unfiltered beauty. It feels alive, breathing and evolving like the changing of a season—natural, inevitable, and quietly stunning. It offers a reality most will never experience, with characters whose love is so authentic, so undeniable, it becomes something most of us could only dream of understanding. Watch it with the right crowd, or experience it alone. Either way, it’s a film that lingers, resonates, and demands recognition. As an independent film, it’s nothing short of Oscar-worthy.

Raw and emotion packed. Leaves you thinking that some of the actions between father and son seem too unique to create/ever forget through the journey of manhood from adolescence. Post movie, only to find out that this story was written as a form of therapy by Shia while in rehab, brings a whole new appreciation to this films meaning.

This movie was horrible. The entire time I watched it I was thinking how it felt a pop culture spin off of Sicario. Could definitely go on about how bad it was, but just not even worth the time for anyone.
