Loved this movie. It was what a live movie adaptation should be for the toon movies. Great diversity represented in the cast, good call backs to the original series while small dashes of other PR easter eggs were given. Good story and origin explanation. The cast did an excellent job of representing the character in today's world, which is much more dark and gritty in comparison to the very campy and kid friendly TV series. People who panned this movie were either expecting a cheese fest of one liners and bad fight scenes in wild colored spandex, or just had no idea what to expect and decided this wasn't it. Definitely recommend this movie.

A Marvel disappointment. With moments of cringe fighting scenes and an absurd number of references to the DC Universe, Eternals fails to deliver that MCU magic that makes it flow with the continuum. Aside from a good cast that did what they could with the script, this film has some moments that give good vibes but overall falls short of the wow factor. The films seeming "plot twist" and underwhelming climax did no favors to the MCU and apparently reconsider everything we know. Add in the discovery of the Eternals creation and that of their antagonists being completely asinine, this is a movie you can.wait for digital release. And the post credit scenes, ugh.

Playing on the human psyche and general distrust people have for military and government, SUM1 takes us into a dystopian future where we know very little about mankind, other than that we are forced to live underground due to alien creatures all but wiping out humanity. The movie features a single actor for a majority of the film as we watch the lead character develop into what the final climax makes him. Definitely a different take on sci fi thrillers that change the narrative and show how human behaviors can lead to certain outcomes.

I had hopes for the movie. The lead, despite a very deadpan portrayal at times, carried this movie being convincing enough to tell us why things were the way they were, but the antagonists of the film were reminiscent of bad guys from Grand Theft Auto, only not as threatening. Moments in the movie really drug on unnecessarily and added nothing to scene. The ending was kind of expected given the nature of the film. This one suffers from a poor script, direction of photography and just bad acting from some of the cast.

I really wanted to like this movie since they went to great lengths with reshooting an entire character and Dave Bautista in the lead, but AOTD falls short from the get go, with no real purpose and the expected ending you hoped didn't happened, while hoping the teased ending in the movie did. The plot relies heavily on corporate type greed, but some events were just too ridiculous to ignore, and we're talking about a zombie movie here. Zack Snyder's gore fest falls short on plot, character development and overall entertainment.

"Her" is literally unlike any film I've ever seen. The obvious overtones of the premise of the film are completely obscured by an excellent execution of story by Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson. Filled with every emotional spectrum you may have in a monogamous relationship, Her forces us to see what we ask of our partners vs. what we are willing to give them. I highly recommend this film.
