The book Sophia’s War was a really great book, there were many events that Avi (the author) covered. The main character Sophia really made me think about what it would be like if I was around during that time. I feel as though the characters were part of my life in the way they were described by Avi. The book Sophia’s war was really well planned out in a way where you can see what's happening, whos there, and why it was happening. Avi had a great plot in which many characters grew as a person, or even became a real superhero. The plot really helps you understand what happened during the Revolutionary war. The characters could have had a little more description from Avi, but I mean I think the personalities of the characters were wonderful. But I feel like Avi could of also added more history about the characters like William. This story is great for pre-teens and young adults because it has an inspirational female hero, which you don't see to often.
