Ponniyin Selvan 1, a mani Ratnam masterpiece. The directed tried his atmost best to make kalki's novel come to life. It's still bits and pieces from the novel, coz it's impossible to make that 5 part novel into 2 films. But the film is great nonetheless, the cast is perfect and delivered their best, especially vikram as Aditya karikalan. The film will literally take to the great chola era, the cinematography from Ravi varman is phenomenal. AR Rahman is masterclass as always with his music. Overall the movie is a solid 9/10. Must watch in theatres with your family.

It's a not your everyday movie, it's a psychological art film with dark unsettling disturbing mood. Normal audience may consider this movie boring, but it's a masterpiece. It's a rare movie indeed that can be this alternately terrifying, hysterical, strange, and heartbreaking, often in the same scene.

Movie that makes us dream and follow it. Very inspiring and thought provoking. Ben Stiller should make more movies. The cinematography is very good. You'll be happy after watching the movie. I Recommend you to watch this movie
