I love MI movies but this fell flat for a number of reasons. 1. Boring and overly complicated plot. 2. Movie is far too long. Especially the first hour, hardly any action at all. 3. Villain is awful - he looks like he rolled off a set of a Netflix Christmas movie. 4. Too many pointless characters with no story arc of their own. 5. Ethan lacked his usual charm. He seemed more reserved than other movies. Hardly any light comedy which you'd usually see in these movies. 6. Dull and unsatisfying ending to an iconic movie franchise. Good points: 2 very good actions sequences (Submarine part and the plane dual).

Lacked everything that made the original great namely the songs and characters like Mushu. The movie was flat with no humour and poor character development or rapport between them. The writing was cringely clichéd from start to finish (honor, family honor, honor, honor, truth, honor blah blah blah....). This movie lacked imagination and the usual flair that comes with a Disney classic. I didn't feel upbeat or inspired as I usually do. I'll admit some of the scenes portraying China were gorgeous but I can catch that on the Discovery Channel. You come to Disney to be entertained. This did not deliver.

Not as good as previous games. Very dark in some areas and the graphics are not great in comparison to the likes of uncharted. Still enjoyable to play though
