This is the kind of once-in-a-generation movie that defines a genre and sets the groundwork for the conventions that will be repeated in years to come. Quite a few of the reviewers here seem to be mistakenly giving praise to this movie while conflating it with a similar movie, Transformers. While it is understandable that the two films have vaguely similar premises, transmorphers is the arguably stronger brother of the two. Although the acting leaves a little to be desired (the women did not adequately convey a sense of terror that should come with being the last people on earth living next to a bunch of testosteroned men), the cinematography and editing was top notch. There is also a good twist at the end, and I'm not talking about aluminum. This is a good movie for anyone looking to kill some time.
