I would have liked to have more backstory on the Manson Family. I felt that the film glossed over that part by saying they are just hippies. I enjoyed the view into Hollywood history. I haven't seen a good buddy movie in a long time, bravo. I also enjoyed the western angle, you got a view of the acting process. There could have been more speaking parts for minorities. Was that a way to show how separate the African American community was from the power structure? I give it a 7 out of 10.
