It deserves a no. 1 spot under the comedy genre. I feel it's a bit underrated but it is a must watch anime. It even has awesome op's and ed's and almost all the characters are likable. At first it is episodic but later on develops a good story line with the help of story arcs. A wide variety of emotions are depicted and it can make you cry to the same extent it makes you laugh. To add on it also has pretty cool action scenes too...
