After the beauty and openness of Sword / Shield, I had high hopes. But no. Just because it is based on an older game doesn’t mean you have to go back completely. This consists of steering a Bobble-Head around, talking to other Bobble-Heads. Movement with the stick is very inaccurate, you can’t walk through grass without getting set upon by a lvl 3 Bidoof every 10 seconds and it’s all just a bit dull. It may be faithful to the original, but in this day and age, we expect more

The current lineup of hosts, with the exception of Chris Harris is awful. I want to watch a show hosted by motoring journalists who know what they’re talking about, not egotistical, self-promoting Northern idiots who wouldn’t know a Wankel cycle from an Atkinson cycle. The BBC are obviously desperate, by using known household names they think the show will be popular. It’s not, everyone hates the ‘new’ format. It wasn’t just Clarkson and co. who made the show successful, Andy Wilman too, made it popular, fun to watch and above all, informative. I’ve just fast-forwarded through S31E01 a) because I cannot stand McGuinness and b) because IT WAS SO DULL. Still, I can always find a good episode of the original show on DAVE - a much better watch! Take note BBC - you are losing the audience that have been faithful for many years. You want to keep them, sort out your lineup.
