This is a truly amazing series. It explores the issues of survival against the odds ...but not so much about the incredible survival after the plane crash, but about survival from a terribly painful childhood. It truly is inspirational. Loved it. Series 2 PLEASE!!!

As others have posted ... hooked from the first episode! This story is hugely complicated, but all the loose ends tie up in a most extraordinary way, not how you'd expect ... you find yourself so drawn in that you almost feel you're in the series yourself ... asking yourself questions about your own life. The whole thing is totally amazing in every way; stunning cinematography, haunting music, fabulous locations, utterly believable acting and a tale of the power of love finally overcoming evil. on a different note, the subtitles in the 3rd series actually match the words spoken! That was a big improvement.
