6 good seasons of build up goes downhill, first with an okay season 7. Then, season 8 rushes everything and forgets everyone. Battling the night king could have been an entire season on it's own
The end was unsatisfying and I'd wouldn't recommend the entire series but just season 1-6, or even 1-4 for that matter
