It taught me a perceptual tool of looking at the World in a way that was so startling that I discontinued it when my visual field flipped and shadows became more prominent than highlights. Over the decades I still use the technique of viewing but without the boldness that I once used for fear of irreversibly affecting my perception. The event took place in the early 70's. I was not chemically altered.
