HORRIBLE customer service. I've bought countless peloton bikes for clients this summer during COVID, and finally ordered a bike for myself when the peloton plus came out in early September. I selected the first avail delivery date which was late October. Meanwhile friends who purchased the bike AFTER me secured an earlier delivery and got their bike in early October. I got a notice 2 days before my bike was supposed to be delivered in October that my delivery date was being moved out to end of Nov/Dec. The ONLY people affected (about 10,000 people keep in mind) were the ones that had that specific delivery week.
Instead of moving all deliveries back a week to accommodate and rearrange the shipment issue, for this delivery week that had the 'delayed shipment from China'. They decided to push 10,000 people out a month plus, and give them bikes from the shipment coming in later this month....so I essentially just got grouped in with anyone who placed an order for a bike today. Zero consideration that I placed my order in early September.
So if you ordered the Peloton Plus right when it came out, like a good customer, you are being rewarded with a longer delivery delay. Meanwhile people who ordered their bikes in October are getting them delivered on time this week.
I've called customer service 3 times, each time a manager has 'refused' to talk to me. They claimed if an earlier delivery date opens up in my area, they will let me know, which we already have seen doesn't happen based on my friends order who randomly selected an earlier delivery date then what was offered to me.
With all the options out there, Nordic Bike, Mirror, Tonal, why would people keep going back to a company that doesn't value their customers enough to get a manager on the phone to explain the situation and apologize? They are leaving their customer service reps to do their apology work, and meanwhile, these guys have zero training and zero understanding of what happened. They were only able to offer me a $100 refund on a 2K+ bike and membership. It's ridiculous.....
SAVE YOUR MONEY. A company who can't even figure out a proper delivery process when they have logistic issues or can't even get a manager on the line to explain why your bike is delayed 5+ weeks when people who ordered after you are getting their bikes....Save yourself this misery.
