Honestly there’s a fine line between good satire and just plane bad acting. This movie definitely crossed the line to bad acting. The accents were just unlistenable… don’t know what they think an italian accent sounds, but apart from that there is enough material on the real characters that they could have based their accent on. But no, let’s not put effort into that. Every scene was so painfully long and with no reason to it. Some characters were just stupidily portrayed, especially Paolo Gucci. Why Leto thought it would be appropriate to act the way he did is beyond comprehensive to me. Just trying to do some stereotype italian character, far away from Paolo’s personality, but in the end just offensive honestly. The leading up to the murder was so long and just so disappointing in the end, the acting there was just bad. All in all very bad acting, very bad accents and no high in the story. Really, don’t spend your money on it.
