Gal Gadots acting range is so narrow. The only moment in the entire movie she shows any emotion is when she lays in a crumpling heap. Probably the strong woman trope is not for her. It looks like she is the pre-indie Kristen Stewart of D.C. movies. The movie is long without any reward to those who stick around. The jokes are forced and cringey, the “villain” is honestly just a nice but stupid guy who does all the things that typical villains do. Everything about this movie screams “WE DONT CARE ABOUT THE STORY AS LONG AS WE CAN SELL SOME MERCH OFF THIS!”
