Great sci-fi series. Great post-apocalypse series. Excellent storytelling with character building and depth. Hell Divers really engages the reader to the point where they need to know what happens next without sacrificing content with multiple red herrings, not necessarily rare in the book world, but does an excellent job keeping the reader interested. Nicolas Sansbury Smith is an excellent author worth checking out.

Poor remake and cast. Petty cash grab to placate today’s gender climate . When the first one was released with Diaz, Ling and Barrymore it Brought an interesting and entertaining aspect of female empowerment with the subject of secret agents with a dash of comedy to movies however the second one was a slapstick mess which chose to not strengthen the power of those women but instead turn them into comic reliefs which in turn became a flop. This movie is a regurgitation of that process replacing half of the comic relief with lack luster situations with actors that don’t have the range for this type of film.
