I don’t even like anime but I loved Alita. For maximum satisfaction, the film needs to be seen in the 3-D format (a 40 minute drive to the nearest theater offering that option but well worth the trip). Even though the girl/warrior Alita is mostly cyborg, Rosa Salazar brings humanity to the role which audiences can identify with and support. My only complaint: what does one have to do to get a berserker body? I want one! Just hope they get the funding for a sequel (and maybe a prequel as well). You can sign me up now for either.

my daughter and I have been a fans of TWD since season 1.We went to one local Comic Con as Rick and Carl and were a big hit with other fans of the series. We're still saving the zombie appearance for a future event. We even guessed the premature fate of Glenn in the 'dumpster episode'. I have always identified with Rick Grimes character from the get-go while my daughter is kind of the Darryl type. I'll miss Rick in the future episodes (do I hear flashback) but Rick's final (for now) episode completely destroys my final series episode theory--Rick wakes up! Happy trails Rick. Thanks for the memories! Say hi to Laurie and Carl (and Hershel, T-Bone , Glenn, Dale, etc. )when you see them again. At least we still have [the warriors] Michonne, Darryl, Carol, and Maggie. Please no more surprises for a while. I'll be in grieving mode for the next few weeks. Rick will always live because I am Rick too!
