AI dungeon has honestly helped me a lot mentally during this last universally horrible year. Right off the bat with the free account it's good for some silly fun and with a few tweaks and tips you can have interesting little adventures. I took the plunge and decided to go for the lowest tier subscription and it's been so totally worth it. It's gotten me back into writing. Even when I normally wouldn't have the energy to really get into writing something I can plug in some character info and brainstorm a scene or a plotpoint. And if I'm not in the mood to do serious writing I can mess around and see how chaotic I can make a scenario or how close I can get to a specific style or world. It's such a powerful and unique tool that I think some people have the wrong idea about, it's not perfect sure, but it's very very close.
