With few exceptions, itโs a poor storytelling and a completely unconvincing โloveโ story. The movie is more brutal than the other parts because of the way Violents scenes were shot. I would not show it to anyone below 18. Funny that Hobbit 2 is recommended for +16 years old and this one is just +12โฆ say what??

Iโm impressed how itโs possible to create such dull characters without any emotional depth despite the impressive length of the book. I trusted that Bloomsbury publishes high quality fantasy but this has been a disappointment.

Some interesting ideas but mediocrely written - there is no depth to the characters so the dynamics between them are not well developed, making the plot of the main romance totally unconvincing.
