Oh dear! Well I tried watching for over an hour, and seriously couldn't piece anything together, accept masculinity secret. It's a real slow moving film, and I'm not sure about the characters or even the acting. So, Oscar nominated, but lacks a solid storyline.... Just wasn't doing it for me. Sorry

Loved it. Especially the connection between the two main characters. Beautiful story of reality for some; with a twist of the young looking after the older generation. This is how it should be. Billy Crystal and Tiffany Haddish done well!

And I'm still watching... Excellent thriller

I am completely enjoying this series. Ethan Hawkes performance of John Brown is outstanding, as is Joshua Caleb Johnson's performance as Onion... Not too sure how factual the stories are, however they believable. Showing the dark side of the past with a touch of comedy. I've watched 5 episodes on 2 days and really don't want it to finish. Well done to the creator, writers, cast, crew and everyone involved 👏🏽

Ok, so I watched this movie during the week, and felt compelled to share with several colleagues at work and family. It is a beautiful movie, with happy parts and obviously very sad parts ( Nazi Germany). I just wish we could learn more about their real life stories.

What a beautiful movie. Tears of sadness knowing that so many young lives go through this yearly, and of happiness seeing this young man find his mum and sister, after 25 years.

Enjoyed watching. Not familiar with the book, so unable to compare. well done Mr Elba supporting Londoners and British Actors, especially Aml Ameen and Stephen Graham. Not forgetting Shantol Jackson. For your first directorial debut, it wasn't bad. We all need to start somewhere...
