This story is wonderful. Jimmy Stewart is wonderful. Anyone who says they don't like it don't know the movie or have not paid attention to the story. Every little event and scene has meaning for the rest of the movie. . You also have to get beyond a few super dated and cringe worthy moments like the AA lady at the end (big stereotypical smile and speech), Jimmy Stewart winking at the very end(hokey), Mary being called an old maid and finally Jimmy and Clarence at the bar being called pixies. You simply have to overlook those things because otherwise the movie, acting and story are perfect.
