Yes, that's my honest rating for Squid Game. I am actually amazed of the 9 series which I watched in one sitting. As a political analyst and educand for 32 years now I find it a real true to life story, not merely specifying Korean culture but in some other cultures too. I am teaching ETHICS at Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST), Zamboanga City Region 9, southern part of the Philippines. The series is a balance manifestations of the good and the bad. Actually right after viewing it, I conducted a research in Filipino language and interpreted the research for local dissemination and it has an implications in the teaching of ETHICS. Then later for international research presentation, I'll translate it in English and going deeper in its contents. I love doing research and this is one of the areas which I consider most important since it has socio-economic, political, cultural, historical bearings. Again, congrats for producing this meaningful episodes which has moral lessons to instill.
