Wise Old Joe

It was a good film that I enjoyed as a trip to the cinema for the first time by myself.

A decently enjoyable film with great animation and likeable characters. It does steal elements from Toy Story though, and I did laugh a couple of times. You can watch it if you want or you can watch any of the Toy Story films. Do not watch the sequel to this film.

A pointless and predictable sequel that nobody asked for. It's a Toy Story rip-off and the characters aren't even likeable. The animation is nothing new. You can watch the original film or any of the Toy Story films over this.

This shot-for-shot remake ruins the 1994 original classic by being unfunny and boring as well as having no catchy songs whatsoever, and the worst part is that there's nothing new to offer! They might've changed a few scenes but that doesn't change the how much I like it. The characters have no emotions! Also I hope Disney stops with these money making remakes. Probably the best part is Timon and Pumbaa because they're probably the only slightly funny part about this film. I recommend you stick with the original because it's actually funny and the characters show emotions.

The film may not be amazing or anything but it's good and funny. It made me laugh a few times, especially in that dance battle scene. The animation is amazing and the characters are pretty likeable (most of them anyway). Adults probably won't like it as much as children (they will probably have a blast with it) and I wouldn't say it was a blast like other children but I thought it was pretty good. It's also my favourite video-game film of all time along with Detective Pikachu which isn't far behind.

It's good but not great. I found the animation better but the settings a bit less interesting the first film. The story may be average and a couple characters may not be the best, but it's enjoyable enough to be in between good and great. I recommend it for younger children that are more likely to enjoy this more than I did. It's not as charming as the original in my opinion but its not far from it either.

It may have filler leading up to the scene where he steals Christmas but it made me laugh a few times and the characters were likeable and I found it enjoyable enough to be good. Children six and under will probably like it more than me and it would be a good Christmas film for them. 8/10
