So first and foremost this needs to be said. This show is an animated retelling of the adventures of Vox Machina. As such for new people to Critical Role and the Vox Machina crew this show might be a little off for you. It was a show that was supposed to be made for $750,000 and the funding well exceeded that. This is a passion project essentially gone viral. The tales we are witnessing here are from a D&D campaign that wasn't pre written, and then later saved and reused for the show. Overall I like the animation. The voice acting of course is incredible. The story is what most of us that backed the show were expecting and have been following along with on their youtube channel. I am so excited to see this complete series and I hope we get to have many many more seasons.
