If you are not Irish and never felt anything towards Ireland or didn't understand its history then don't worry, this book will turn you into an Irish patriot (or at least you will be compelled to go deeper into the history of this beautiful country). The way James Stephens narrates what happens in the insurrection day by day can really inmerse you into those 1916 strange and confusing events in Dublin.
