This is a powerful film and one that everyone should see because bias - implicit and explicit - towards women and others exists in every sector of our society. This film shows how it works both ways. Toward the end of the film, Nancy Hopkins was asked if she would do this all over again. She said she couldn't live without science, but think amount the time and energy that she and others could have given to science if they weren't having to fight for their opportunity to be a scientist.

Watching the first show of the new season. GET RID OF THE FAKE APPLAUSE! It drowned out Tyra at the beginning of the show and just kept going when it didn't need to. It was so bad I almost wanted to turn off the sound because it hurt my ears. This show has music - just let the music and the dancing stand on their own and can the canned applause.
