SPOILERS AHEAD!! I went to watch this movie with my bestfriend and my brother who in fact is a huge fan of the franchise and wanted to see if the new movie would follow up with everything else before it. Unfortunately, it wasn't what we expected-- far too many cliches, death scenes where so predictable that my bestie and I had to make a bet on how many times GhostFace would attack behind a meaningless character that brought no actual value to the series besides the originals that came back. (She won at the end of the movie). Finally, the main character of the story felt more like a "POV" that you will find in a Wattpad story that categorizes: X daughter on anything. Because having Billy Loomis be the father of the main girl that is being hunted by the new Ghostface killers that happens to be her: Boyfriend and her sisters bestfriend was faarr too predictable. Especially since she randomly states shes Billy's daughter infront of her sister who got stabbed 7 times by the "new" Ghostface. Who in fact (her boyfriend) was listening all about it on the other side of the hospital room. Another thing to go off of would be the fact they gave no character development to any side character of the movie. Most of them end up dying before they actually get any character development. And, Dewey ended up dead half way after saving the main characters sister before getting a chance to gun down Ghostface. But, overall the whole movie was bad and a waste of $34.
