I've finished watching it and found myself frustrated as variations of the line: "what has happened once will happen again" occurred over and over again. What was brilliant was the complex family tree dynamics. This series was a more "dark" version of Back to the Future (Past, Present, Future, Western). This genre of story telling is very difficult, especially to conclude...I thought Dark had its brilliant moments but wasn't surprised when the conclusion of the 2nd season was abrupt and inconsistent with the previous episodes, including the first season. I would've been fine with a tragic ending.
