DESIGNATED SURVIVOR This web-series is supremely well-made, and I have started holding Kiefer Sutherland in extremely high esteem for his remarkable, phenomenal acting prowess ! In fact, the actors, ALL-IN-ALL, have played their roles excellently, the script is superb, the twists and turns, the moral dilemmas that the President ---who is an idealist-perfectionist--- has to struggle with. Kiefer has given his best to every episode, and so has his supporting cast. The eloquent English is exquisite, noteworthy and one realizes that she/he is looking at an honest man, not contemplating and staging out any stratagems to undermine others, but stands for the American people, and the moral values that the forefathers of that Great Nation cherished and pursued. While Kiefer as President emulates those ideals, there are cataclysmic upheavals in his personal life. The President's emotions of joy and pain, successes, accomplishments as well as his frustrations are all de-picted so real ! It requires a magnificently outstanding actor to do justice to that role, which Kiefer does so well. While watching the series, one feels as if one is watching the REAL White-House sagas, on and off campus. Kiefer has enacted so phenomenally superbly. The President is the hub with so many strings attached...! The series makes evident that Presidency of the most powerful nation in the world is a crown of thorns and the seat in the oval office is truly a hot seat. It is so gratifying to see that the President is a man of principles, never swerving from the path of righteousness and although he has to hit back his opponents, but never below the belt. What is noteworthy is that the series does NOT promote any real political agendas ! And of course, there are so many diversified issues that the President has to deal with...practically every day comes with unforeseen challenges. However, being an egalitarian, forthright and honest, he overpowers the calamities and threats not only to the States, but to humanity at large, and has them obliterated through leadership and world-statespersonship...! the 'President' Kiefer does it so adroitly. I really look forward to watching a 'sequel' web series to this one...! Kudos to all the actors and directors, script-writer, camera-persons...and all those have made the series such an engaging and one is enticed into watching it, episode after episode ! Kiefer, doubtless, has inherited his cardinally paramount acting prowess from his illustrious father, Donald Sutherland! And he has taken it to the culmination ! WAY TO GO, KIEFER !!!
