I enjoyed it, and it's a good cast.
My main objection is it really didn't feel like the sixties to me. The makeup and dialogue was a bit too modern an interpretation. And it kind of needed to evoke that time in order to be truly compelling. It felt to me too much like millenials playing at the civil rights era in order to play to the me too era (I use that term with no malice here, for the record.) I get why people felt it was unfairly cancelled, but it just went over a lot of territory that been done already, a number of times, and better.
