As industrial and experimental hip-hop goes, this band is everything. This is just one step of many in their discography. Released not long after Death Grips' mix tape Exmilitary, it has a similar sound to it. The two tracks on this EP are very aggressive and have little down time for more "chill" parts. MC Rides' vocals and lyrics are very loud but have a controlled flow and rhythm to them. The blasted drum beats by Zach Hill and erratic movement of Andy Morrin's sampling and production fit well with the two tracks' overall sound. Not their best work, but does that make it a bad EP? Not at all. If you're looking to widen your music horizons, this band is the place to go.
