Like so many others, I liked season 1 well enough. Season 2 however has removed the narrator and gone full period reproduction. I enjoy period reproductions but, even though the acting and costumes are done well enough, the sound is strangely low and the story lines are muddled. I just couldn't watch it anymore. I'm sad Netflix dumped money into this instead of giving us another season of Santa Clarita Diet.
