After reading the book this film was very disappointing. Honestly if I had watched the movie first I would never had read the book. This is unfortunate because Kate Dicamillo is an excellent writer. Flora and Ulysses the novel is worth the read. The movie however can be skipped because it looses all the beauty of the book.
