Ayushman Khurana never disappoints!! This movie is spectacular and it is very well thought out about the way it would make its message come across. It is very nice to see that at the end the movie doesn’t become a typical love story where Bhoomis character is just a “reward” he gets at the end for accepting himself. It is nice that they show her as a supporting character throughout the film who has her own arc. I really hope this movie will be able to change the way our society thinks. I really hope people who go against the societies “accepted” view will be able to love and be proud of their identity. I am very happy that a movie like this has come out! All the actors and actresses did a fantastic job! The direction, screenplay and writing were terrific! Of course all the other staff who worked on clothes, sets, makeup etc. did an amazing job!!

The movie showed queen of Jhansi’s fierceness. All the actors were able to portray their emotions perfectly. The first third of the movies plot seemed pretty slow but it got better afterwards. There were some unnecessary graphics added to the film, but it didn’t change how I viewed the movie. The movies name should’ve simply been queen of Jhansi to attract more people because mostly people know her as queen of Jhansi or Laxmi bai. They should’ve also promoted the movie more. The movie deserves more recognition. I don’t get why the critics are giving it such low ratings. Everyone should watch this movie, it’s great way to know what people in our history have done for us.
