My wife and I decided to have a movie night. A lot of the comments are a little harsh I'd say. It's one of those gem movies that has a little bit of everything. It had horror, family drama, connections, heroine who was also a villain. The struggled relationship with her child was touching. The way it ended where he was forced to kill her at such a young age. You truly feel so sad for him. When he's trying to hug her and she is pushing him away because she has to.
All of that I appreciate the thing that took the star away WAS some plot holes for me. When the plane landed it soon became dark. These vampires knew it was dark because of the windows. So I couldn't figure out why they didn't just jump out of the plane in the first place. They were certainly strong enough, not to mention the broken window that was just stacked with bags... they could have just jumped right out and ran straight for the whole rescue team. That was my only real complaint that I noticed some inconsistencies with using 'real logic'.
