Fun, fantasy, suspense, popcorn thrills. This show is not breaking new ground as far as messages it is telling, but it does not have to with a solid overall plot, and better acting than an average CW show. The fantasy elements are frequent and kept interesting throughout the story. The reason I post a 4/5 and not a full 5 is because the show is relatively predictable and corny in the way you expect teen drama to be. If that does not bother you, I fully recommend Locke and Key.
