Tear jerker. Wonderful performances all around.

1 star due to Biblical inaccuracy. The Holy Scriptures are filled with truth of King David's life. 1 Samuel 22:3 From there David went to Mizpah in Moab and said to the king of Moab, “Would you let my father and mother come and stay with you until I learn what God will do for me?” Here it's clear from the Bible that David's mother was alive even while he was fleeing Saul. This show is a watered down copy (with many other misrepresentations) that is at best for entertainment only, and at worst made with the intent to lie about God's anointed in order to damage people spiritually. Having finished episode 2, I'm convinced it's the latter. But God is not mocked. All lying tongues will be stopped. "Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more" - Real King David quote. Spoiler alert, The Son of David is gonna make sure it happens. Praise God!
