occasionally humorous, but more often cringe. these folks are way past college age and the attempt at "i'm not gay" full grown man (31 at this time) falls flat. i understand benny wrote this, directed it, and stars in it, but he's simply too old as are his supporting cast.

powerful, intriguing direction, heartbreaking, had a nightmarish dream after watching. i grew up in ms during the sixties, i really had no idea how bad racism was then...these were children.

pretty awful...totally unbelievable, dialogue was oftentimes nonsensical and extremely feigned...and not even remotely scary.

dull and predictable to me. i must be missing something.

i did not enjoy. i am a long-time movie lover. had to go to "brain pilot" on youtube to understand the point/ending. too esoteric for me. i know and respect the actor's work. other than over-breathing in most scenes, she was ok, in this case too little was not enough.

oooooh...do better. season two - now four episodes in...ridiculous, not a single original idea. very sad, so much potential, reduced to boring nothingness.

i tired the first three episodes. think i'm done. monk, it aint....

i wanted to like this. season one was ok - i'm into five episodes of season 2 and i find it barely watchable, probably won't go back. bad writing, some bad acting, unbelievable green screen clips (e.g., the wrestling match where it is painfully obvious, the audience is not actually there), gratuitous nudity and sexuality with della, gratuitously violent deaths, nonsensical plot so far, etc. it's a shame.

binged in about three days. it was excellent on all levels. totally engrossed in story and characters.

outstanding - fabulous acting allowed me to understand it all as it progressed. beautiful scenery, takes place in an interesting, seldom seem time period for a western...1925.
