Ok so, as a movie, from a quality of continuity and camera and editing quality, not great. The montages are real cheesy. But the STORY. YOU WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. I just watched it for the first time, and I have never been so sad. If you want to cry, just watch this. And think about during Dear Theodosia when Hamilton sings about Phillip. And Stay Alive (Reprise). Teeheehee.

As a show, it was really well done. Especially compared to some Netflix Originals. But, that’s where the positives stop. Compared to the books, the completely and totally butchered them. My 12 year old sister and I watched it together, and we were completely thrown off by how they changed it. In some ways, it was good change, but in others, it was all for the sake of making the show more “modern”.
Great job ruining it, Netflix.
