I really wish they had stuck closer to the novel. At least the novel had more interesting and complicated relationships. I felt the show went for simple, which made it boring. So many good characters and storyline not included. I felt they didn't give you time to love the characters to really feel for them. You do feel a bit for Rebecca, but I really didn't like what they did to her compared to the book. Overall disappointing. Not as bad if you haven't read the novel, but still nothing exciting.
