I’m sorry but it’s just a repeat each season, the kids constantly fight and cause trouble outside of their dojos. Johnny and Daniel still can’t get along, and therefore setting a bad example. Some old faces making a return. Terry silver still scheming, Tory is still PMSy lol and everyone’s having relationship issues. 🙄 it was honestly like watching a season long episode or “Dahr Mann” the show could have been great. But it’s a let down. It has deterred so far from the karate kid films. For kids who are suppose to be part of me miyagis dojo they are often left to fend for themselves and constantly don’t have guidance like they let them roam around in Spain with NO supervision given their history of fighting and the fact that it’s literally the biggest competition you’d think they’d not allow the kids to go out clubbing and on the town instead stay in and focused. NAH…. Omg I can’t.

I’m 30 and loved beetle juice since I was a young child. I have always maintained that if anyone can do adaptions or sequels long after the original and do it very well it’s Tim Burton! Although the first one has a special place and is always the best, this one stuck close to the ghost story and classic dark twists of the world of the dead! Seeing Lydia again her character is still so likeable sweet despite her gothic appearance. Wynona is one of a kind and she did amazing. Michael Keaton as the classic nuisance and trouble maker Beetlejuice too played his role perfectly and to the Tee! I don’t care what anyone says he was made for the role only. Introducing another villain who is much more heinous and unforgiving than beetlejuice was a great touch and excellent part of beetlejuice backstory. Monica Balluci as Dolores was yet again great casting. Jenna Ortega is also a good addition to the cast and I hope to see more of her. The plot was truely interesting and I can tell Tim made a lot of effort and didn’t just want to money grab or rely on nostalgia to impress fans he gave us more back story and characters and I enjoyed it all. Also Danny Devito is my favorite actor so seeing him in there was cool. Thankyou Tim Burton yet again for delivering yet another classic and enjoyable film warped with that crazy dark, goth horror we love and admire you for! I enjoyed it and plan to go again in theatres!

Eddie Murphy hasn’t aged a day I swear. He still looks amazing. His acting and comedy was fantastic, He’s still the crazy, funny, rule breaking, cunning Axel Foley but with a lot more maturity. Joseph Gordon Levit also played his role amazing he was a nice addition. Great to see Taggert and Billy return aswell as other original cast members, that nostalgic feeling hit hard seeing them. The sound track of old school mixed with todays music was also a nice touch to reach younger audiences I enjoyed that too. Axel being in the father role aswell was unexpected for me but that was a nice touch that too added more dynamic to axels personality. Usually todays adaptions or sequels etc made long after the originals flop badly, but this is very enjoyable and nostalgic, I’d definitely watch this regularly for movie nights :)

I love this film, I love that it’s set in French, I love that it’s based on a true story, the cast was perfect, the interview of the job is my fave scene and how driss is not afraid to be himself unlike the other phoneys that get interviewed, at first you think driss is a criminal but he’s actually a sweet funny guy at heart. Both from different worlds driss comes from a poor humble backround where as Phillipe is a billionaire and they form a true bond to the point phillipe can’t seem to cope without driss. I enjoy this far more than the Kevin hart version too. Great movie love love love it. The type of film you can watch many times and still enjoy every single time! I’m literally watching it as I write this review!! lol!!
