Capture the sleaziness of the music industry with incredible accuracy, the Idol fails to provide anything positive other than the aesthetics.

This movie satisfies a Dune by Frank Herbert fan, however, it severely struggles. Denis Villeneuve is a man who severely struggles with exposition (if you watched 2049 without watching the 3 short films, you understand), it struggles trying to cover ground for the scope of the story. The importance of the spice felt flat, so much so that the people I was with didn’t know what melange was (if i recall correctly, melange was only mentioned once *or 0 times maybe wrong* in the whole movie) when we left the theatre, and it does a poor job setting up the imperium and the houses. The Bene Gesserit are the most explored, however, WHAT WE DO KNOW ABOUT THEM, IS LITERALLY WHISPERS. Also, some of the sound mixing makes it HARD for you to understand what is happening, when Paul begins to open his sight because of the spice, it is actually super confusing to understand what is happening unless you have read the book. Overall, its a spectacle, and I understand that there will be a part 2, however, it doesn’t feel like it can stand on its 2 feet without needing the sequel. I do trust that this will go to a 5 star review when pt. 2 comes out, in the end, this is a movie that gets crushed by its own weight, and falls flat in exposition. Go watch it so I can get my dream fulfilled of a good Dune (BOOK 1) adaptation that’s not half of the book.

This game is everything I want in a game. I really did not know anything about CD PROJECT RED before playing this game, and when I first heard of it when the Keanu Reeves announcement was made during E3, I first thought: "cool, ill play that on my next gen console." When the launch happened (I didn't receive my XBOX SERIES S until April) and first heard of poor performance issues and glitches, I was nervous. However eventually in April when my shiny new XBOX arrived, I was pretty pumped to play the game. When I first played it, I was blown away by the open free world of the game, the game design and aesthetic, and the representation for majorities which to me had been unheard of in video games. This game (apart from the gunplay) has been breathtaking and incredible to play for every single second of its playtime. The story is good but it isn't game is not about the story, its about the breathtaking world that CD PROJECT RED created and the amazing details that it has. This game is easily in my top 3 video games of all time and I cannot wait for all the DLC's. (However, regarding the performance issues, my play through on an XBOX Series S has been fantastic, but my television is only 1080p 90 HZ standard color output, if you are still waiting for a new console or are playing on a 4k 120 hz set-up be cautious with your purchase).
