This movie was agonizingly slow and felt impossible to enjoy. Recommend strongly against.

I enjoyed the short story and was optimistic for this movie but it feels too drawn out and I was unsatisfied overall.

I went in not knowing what to expect, but the movie went from 0 to 60 pretty quickly. I thought this movie was hilarious and wonderfully different from other movies I've seen. The literal interpretations of various wishes makes for great fun situations, and the story is surprisingly good considering how much goofiness was packed in.

When it first started I wasn't sure I wanted to keep watching, but just for the bonkers alien characters and wild effects I'm glad I held on. Just go in wanting to have fun and have an open mind, and it'll be worth the watch.

I was excited to see this movie because I enjoyed the original story, but the plot seems mostly unrelated to the original story as I remembered it, and it felt like there were 2 alternate endings that were just thrown in. I couldn't understand the logic of this, and there were too many hints at who/what the villain could be with no great explanations. The ending left me baffled and only able to say "that sucked."

For a movie with a predictable storyline, it was pretty good. Good acting and not all flash and strip club action. The interview parts with Julia Stiles really helped break up the monotony of the strip club feel.
