Season one was perfect. It had suspense, mystery, and it worked really well at creating emotional scenes, but that was all ruined in season 2
The reason season 1 worked so well is cause you could watch it over and over and still feel the terror of the situation because something actually happens that impacts you very deeply. Because of Norman’s death, it didn’t feel like there was no real danger, there was always that feeling of impending doom, and while yes, it was heart wrenching to watch, it was worth it to keep the spirit of the show alive. But when Norman was revealed to still be alive it ruined it and you can’t watch season 2 the same way.
