Spike Lee's latest joint was very good as far as lessons on Black history but, the movie & story was kind of week. Sort of " blackspoitation- ish" with all of the 60s & 70s slang, you "jive turkeys". Not to mention lengthy and slow at 2.5 hours. It felt like it was filmed in real time. The characters were likeable with only a few familiar faces. The most noticeable thing about this movie to me was the main characters were all named after the Temptations.
