I found it disappointing. The foundation books are probably one of the greatest ever works of sci fi in my view. The TV series is visually stunning but the beauty is skin deep and the show fails to do the books any kind of justice. It's more like a soap opera in large parts and the TV show barely scratches the epic scale and themes of the books but instead chooses to focus on melodramatic lead characters and their sexual relations. Probably more enjoyable if you're never read the books, but if you have I suspect the TV show will disappoint
