Saw this in theaters thinking it was actually a new take and I like Jenna Ortega so went to see it. Turns out it wasn't and I had simply blocked scream 5 out of my head cause it was that bloody bad. This movie starts out okay then they fall into the same cliches with no tension at all or stakes. Honestly felt like I was watching another preachy as h**k teen drama... Like... This movie and this franchise has become what it originally set out to comment on. That is to say it's a waste of film much like the rest of the franchises they keep milking out of the cash cows decaying bosom. Instead of making a movie every 10 years to add social commentary to the horror of that time, and it's faults, like the original they have decided to make a joke out of it and you (especially the ending). This movie series, much like Halloween and the others, has started feeling more and more like ithe parady movies about it from the early 2000s (scary movie). Don't waste your time with this absolute preachy joke of a movie. You want to watch a good continuation of an original franchise from back in the day watch Candyman or Evil Dead Rise. Honestly, the scream version on my was better then anything they've committed to scream for a hot minute and that s**t was not meant to be taken seriously.

This game has single handedly made me lose my faith in Pokemon. I've played for at least 10hrs and the more I play the game the more I absolutely loathe it and the pokemon company. There is barely anything going for this game including the designs. Which was apparent during the first opening scene where koridan flies over paldea and nothing is rendered and it looks like a PS1 game from the 90s. 95% of this game has inexcusable textures for this decade and 5% are rended (mostly certain characters and pokemon) which makes them seem completely out of place. The story is about typical there's more to do in regards to story, but all in all this game is empty, unfinished, glitchy, and looks and feels like sonic 06 mixed with sonic XD. Saying that this company has an excuse to put out an unfinished and untuned product because it's "a kids game" is absolutely ridiculous. There are other games from Nintendo that are also kids games but the quality of their games such as Mario Odyssey and breath of the wild are actual fully playable beautiful game that's still considered for kids, there is no excuse. Worst of it all is I bought the double pack from the pokemon company before it came out how garbage this game was (which I had suspected from the horrible half effort designs but being a long time fan got it anyways like a dumb@$$) you can not only not leave a review there but all sales are final (typically only applies to their card sales)...it's almost like they knew people would want a refund. Additionally claims that people haven't called into Nintendos help center to put in tickets so they won't be patching it even though all the issues with the game are not something a random tech could help you fix unless they can wirelessly tap in and recode your game. Iwhich even if they do patch it it'll still look like it's 30 years old. I wouldn't force this game on anyone even my 11 year old sister who this is "technically" made for. This is just more evident proof of a greedy company being greedy it's not about you, or the kids, or making a good game and making their product worth our dollar only getting your money with the least effort put in. They know that you, like me, are full of nostalgia or youve taught your kids to love pokemon and will buy it amyways. Your being used by a multi-million dollar company and giving them an excuse because it's "for kids" or you've never played any other video games in your life and don't understand what quality is and when a company is $hitt* on you and stealing your money with a less then half baked product. Also there are now Minecraft Pokemon so....there you go.

Only one word can really describe it as a long time Pokemon fan and that word is... Lazy. Honestly... They built this platform but fill it with old Pokemon that seem random as heck in environments that have serious climate change issues. The world's are small. It feels like something they could've made on the ds but decided to have a grand idea to just leave the world small and incomplete. I get it... Nostalgia and all but you've got to EVOLVE to make things better and stronger. Especially doing all this "work" to create an engine then have ugly as hell designs for the (what feels like) 5 actual galar natives on your roster. Everything feels random, rushed, the world is just meh there's not spark of life, only loner in a party not realizing the party is over. It's like looking at piece of cardboard. Honestly the last best Pokemon game in recent times was X and Y. Sword and shield has annoying characters, a weak plot, a world that doesn't make sense. It's afraid to change and it shows. It feels like Gale of darkness (I've been around since the beginning so it's nay for lack of loving the series) only Gale of Darkness (GameCube) was far superior, and far more interesting than this lackluster cookie cutter world. There is nothing at all memorable about this game. It is a carbon copy of the formula without the joy of it. I would not in anyway recommend this game and hope in the future the fear of going out of a shell will pass, and we get something different and interesting. Something we want to stay in and fight sleep just so we don't have to leave it. Perhaps even a difficulty setting at the start of the game. I was a kid when Pokemon first came out and am now and adult. Those old games were hard as a kid but kids now are no less willing to try and figure it out. It'd be nice for their to be some recognition that those kids that grew up with Pokemon are now adults who still love it possibly with kids who also love the series. Like most things in life, however, I'll assume they'll continue to dissapoint us so that I may be pleasently surprised when they finally try something that isn't the same old bread.
