Hollywood at it's best. Take a beloved character bash it down and recreate it in their new "creative" view. Every episode is an opportunity to say how awful Jean Luc was. It's nice to see cameos and Patrick Stewart is always a wonderful actor, but the show is actually worse than Star Trek: Enterprise.
